About this role:

As a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This position will be a flexible support to a busy Neurosurgery group based at Utah Valley Hospital.

In this role you can anticipate:

  • Practicing at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah
  • Splitting time between the clinic and the OR; to include first-assisting in surgical cases, inpatient rounding, clinic new-patient and follow-up appointments, etc.
  • Supporting physicians on call, and covering call for other APPs in group, by triaging and responding to non-emergent hospital calls; including coverage on weekends and holidays
  • 4x10's or 8x5's (potential to work longer hours based on OR schedule)
  • This position may include a relocation allowance for relocating candidates

What youll bring:

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
