Parkview Health is currently seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Medical Oncologist or Hematologist with experience in Early Phase Clinical Trials and Experimental Therapeutics to join our team at Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute in Fort Wayne, IN.
Specifics of The Role
- Full-time Medical Oncologist or Hematologist to help establish an early phase clinical trials and experimental therapeutics program at the Packnett Family Cancer Institute.
- The candidates practice will be divided between clinical time seeing patients and administrative time building the early phase clinical trials program.
- Must have experience in clinical trials research, with an established record of opening, overseeing, and caring for patients on phase I clinical trials.
- Established relationships with industry and pharmaceutical company partners is beneficial.
- Seeking a physician leader with experience in program and team building who can work in complexity and across multiple disciplines.
- If the applicant is a medical oncologist, they must have subspecialty expertise in: Breast, GI, Lung, Head and Neck, Neuro/CNS, Melanoma and Sarcoma. Physicians must limit their clinical practices to just one or two tumor sites.
- If the applicant is a hematologist, they must be able to see both malignant and benign hematologic conditions.
