Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Proven experience performing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), arterial revascularization, redo revascularizations, and valve surgeries
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Competence with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Ability to work flexible hours, including 24-hour call shifts

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in hospital-based roundings and trauma settings
• Experience managing complex cardiac cases, including pericardial window procedures and heart valve repairs/replacements
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and support staff

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Minimum of 3 years of surgical experience in a hospital setting
• Active Ohio medical license; credentialing completed within 30 days

Other Requirements:

• Availability for scheduled assignment dates with flexibility for possible emergency privileging
• Travel and lodging reimbursements provided, including ~$150/night lodging and standard/economy airfare as applicable
• Commitment to ongoing patient care excellence and adhering to all hospital and regulatory standards
