We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to provide exceptional emergency care in a busy hospital setting. Required Skills:
- NCCPA Certification as a Physician Assistant
- NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
- Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Meditech 6.1
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume emergency setting
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in emergency medicine or trauma settings
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency medicine or urgent care environments
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work open shifts on 8/6 (12 PM–12 AM), 8/8 (12 PM–12 AM), 8/9 (9 AM–9 PM), 8/10 (12 PM–12 AM), and 8/28 (9 AM–9 PM)
- Must be NCCPA Certified, NC Medicaid credentialed, and enrolled in PECOS
- Willingness to work in a hospital-based setting housed in hospital-owned apartments
- Travel costs reimbursed up to $500 if applicable
