Certified Nurse Midwife - Obstetrics & Gynecology

Baptist Health Care's busy and well established OBGYN Baptist Medical Group - Ladies First is seeking to add an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to complement their current midwifery team, 5 OBGYN physicians and 3 Nurse Practitioners.

Enjoy a brand new, state-of-the-art Mother-Baby unit for deliveries at the new Baptist Hospital campus that opened September 2023. Additionally, you will be supported by 24-hour OB Hospitalist services. 

This position will consist of a combination of patient care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.  The duties will include the full scope of midwifery care. 

Qualified Candidates:

• AMCB (American Midwifery Certified Board) certification
• Previous experience preferred

Duties Include:

• Well-Women examinations
• Family planning and contraceptive counseling
• Prenatal, intrapartum, and post-partum care
