Physician - Hospitalist

Join the dedicated team at Relias Healthcare as a Full-Time Hospitalist at Forrest Health- Highlands Community Hospital in Picayune, MS. 

Highlights:

• Work closely with an APC during the day, collaborating on floor patients and admissions.
• Take charge of overseeing the open-ICU, which see approximately 2-3 patients/day. 
• Enjoy flexible scheduling with 24-hour shifts.
  • 12-hour days and back up coverage to the APC Nocturnist at night. 
• Competitive Compensation package, including flat rate for covering Marion General Hospital Inpatient services via telehealth. 

Job Details:

• Manage a 15-patient average daily census and 4-5 admissions per day.
• Embrace the flexibility of working a 12-hour day shift alongside an advanced practice clinician.
• Cover Marion General Hospital via Telehealth, which has an average daily census of 8-10 patients per day. 
• Provide backup coverage to the APC Nocturnist at night. 

Preferred Experience:

• 1-2 years in a hospital medicine setting with APC Collaboration.
• Procedural experience preferred. 

Requirements:

• MD or DO Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• ACLS certified.
