What Youll Love About This Role

  • Diverse Patient Mix: 60% Oncology / 40% Benign Hematology
  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside nurse navigators, social workers, dieticians, and chemo-certified infusion nurses
  • Balanced Schedule: 36 hours of patient care + 4 hours of admin time, Monday-Friday 8-5
  • Tumor Boards: Participate in multidisciplinary boards every Wednesday and Thursday
  • Manageable Call: Inpatient call just 7 weeks per year
  • Research Opportunities: Engage in clinical trials and initiatives as a member of the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance
  • Streamlined Systems: Systemwide Epic EMR for coordinated care

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
