Banner Childrens Specialists (BCS), a multispecialty group within Banner Health, is actively recruiting for a staff Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our team on the campus of Banner Childrens at Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. Our current team includes one experienced Pediatric Otolaryngologist an experienced PA, with plans to expand our team to three full-time Physicians. BCS provides fully integrated pediatric services to the greater Phoenix area, with the ENT Clinic just steps away from the childrens hospital, specialties and primary care offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who prefers working in a collaborative, integrated system.

Providing care to the East and West Valley, this teams clinical responsibilities include general ENT care plus other pediatric ENT niches like aerodigestive, cleft/craniofacial, thyroid center, vascular anomalies, and sleep surgery . The ENT service line will have other subspecialty support with our Pediatric Subspecialties teams such as Sleep Medicine, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Hematology/Oncology, and Cardiology.

BCS  seeks candidates with the following qualifications:

• Peds ENT fellowship-trained
• ABMS Board certification or eligibility required
• General Pediatric ENT position with opportunity for focus in niche areas
• No minimum shift requirement, flexible scheduling
• Leadership opportunities are also available for those qualified

Serving a pediatric population of 350,000+, Banner Childrens at Desert (BDMC) in Mesa is a state-of-the-art, 206-bed childrens hospital that was opened in November 2009. Banner Children's at Desert was designed Through the Eyes of a Child, meaning it has all the comforts of home and does not feel institutional. The hospital is meant to inspire healing, learning and imagination. Our Child Life professionals play an active role in ensuring children feel safe and prepared for the hospital experience. Non-procedure zones, such as the Forever Young Zone, Sophies Place, and the Big Outside, are used for music and play therapy as well as for respite and relaxation.
