The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia (UVA) Children's Hospital is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Division Director for Pediatric Infectious Diseases. This is an opportunity for a visionary leader to advance clinical care, research, and education in an established and highly regarded division.

This full-time faculty position is available at the Associate or Full Professor level on the tenure or non-tenure track, depending on the candidates qualifications and career goals. Individuals with established laboratory or clinical research programs are particularly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree required.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Infectious Diseases is required.
  • Eligibility for appointment to the UVA faculty at the Associate or Full Professor rank.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in academic medicine.
  • A strong track record in clinical care, education, and research.
