Heywood Health, a well-established community health system in Gardner, MA, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our team. This is a full-time, employed position offering a flexible schedule and an opportunity to shape your practice.
Position Highlights:
Inpatient & Outpatient Care: Work within a 134-bed community hospital with additional access to a 21-bed critical access hospital.
Flexible Schedule: Example structure: 1.5 days in-office, 3 days in endoscopy.
Established Team: Join three physicians and one APP with full hospitalist service for admissions.
Advanced Support: 100% anesthesia coverage for all cases in the endoscopy suite.
Call Schedule: 1:4 rotation with additional compensation for extra coverage.
Telemedicine: Partial in-office telemedicine options available.
EMR System: Meditech Expanse for inpatient, Athena for outpatient.
No APP oversight required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Base Salary with productivity-based wRVU incentives.
Sign-On Bonus: $30,000.
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000.
Student Loan Assistance: $30,000 (may affect longevity sign-on bonus).

CME stipend of $5,000 with paid time off.
Qualifications:
BC/BE in Gastroenterology.
ERCP skills preferred but not required.
Must live within one hour of practice per by-laws requirement.
