Physician - Family Medicine

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a full time board certified or board eligible Family Medicine physician (MD/DO) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to care and who is willing to grow a practice as part of a dedicated family practice program within a multispecialty medical group framework. The designed space is approximately 5,206 sq. ft. clinic and will operate 5 days a week from 8a to 5p treating both family practice patients. The clinic can eventually accommodate 4 FTE providers once fully operational; it also has a procedure room, lab and x-ray. The schedule consists of working Monday - Friday, minimum of 34 patient contact hours per week. One day per month & two weekends per year required for call. The site location is Star Clinic in Star, Idaho.

The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. The qualified candidate must be passionate about family health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine Residency
• Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy, DEA. PALS and NRP certification
