Opportunity Details

• Full time - 1.0 FTE 
• Schedule: Varying 
• Call Schedule/Rotation: TBD
• Location: Livonia, MI - Schoolcraft Campus

Requirements

• Completion an ACGME approved Orthopaedic Residency Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship trained in Joint Replacement (Adult Reconstruction)
• Active State of Michigan Medical License

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform total hip and total knee replacement surgeries, including primary and revision procedures
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and formulate comprehensive surgical plans.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and rehabilitation teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced technologies, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques
• Participate in call rotation, inpatient rounds, and outpatient follow-up clinics
• Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and their families about surgical options, recovery expectations, and preventive care
