Neurologist - Forbes Best-in-State Employer - Phelps Health

Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct holistic evaluations of neurologic symptoms, assessing physical, cognitive, sensory, mental, emotional, and social well-being in patients.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic neurologic conditions.
- Carefully monitor prescriptions, manage potential drug interactions, and tailor regimens based on seizure thresholds, comorbidities, and cognitive status.
- Collaborate with nurses, APPs, physical/occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and other specialists for integrated care, including timely referrals for complex cases requiring subspecialty expertise.
- Offer tailored neurologic health screenings and preventive counseling for lifestyle factors.
- Assess neurologic-related daily functioning, recommend assistive devices, and advise on safety.
- Explain neurologic conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies in clear, understandable ways.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Neurology
- Experience serving as a collaborating physician with Advance Practice Providers
Location:
- This is a full-time position located within a hospital-attached clinic in Rolla, Missouri.
