Qualifications:

  • Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Current APRN license in Kentucky; CPR certification (required).
  • Experience: Proven experience and a strong background in STI/sexual health diagnosis and treatment.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in developing individualized care plans, prescribing appropriate medications, and providing patient counseling.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and sensitively with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of sexually transmitted infections.
  • Prescribe medications and develop comprehensive, individualized care plans.
  • Provide empathetic sexual health education and risk-reduction counseling to patients.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff and leadership to ensure the highest quality of care and patient outcomes.
