Primary Care Physician - Full-Time Opportunity

The GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), providing up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement for qualified candidates.

Position Highlights:

• Uses assessment skills to examine patients thoroughly using appropriate clinical, laboratory and other pertinent data.
• Initiates appropriate and timely treatment.
• Acts quickly in recognizing emergency situations and taking timely necessary action.
• Promptly and completely reports physical examinations and changes in patient status.
• Accurately interprets and evaluates clinical data for the purpose of determining diagnosis and clinical status.
• Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, and coordinate the administrative, clinical, or educational program
• Salary range: $245,000 - $275,000

Preferred Experience:

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• 3 or more years of experience in a Primary Care Setting.
• Prior experience in the hospital, emergency or trauma setting.
