Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits.
Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.
Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine.
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).
