NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Midwest City, OK. You’ll play a key role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, modern urgent care setting.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat patients for a wide range of urgent care and occupational health needs.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with NextCare’s mission and values.
• Develop and clearly communicate treatment plans and follow-up steps.
• Document care in the electronic health record (EHR) and accurately code and bill for services.
• Maintain clinical productivity and quality standards consistent with peers and industry benchmarks.
• Provide appropriate follow-up care as indicated.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Oklahoma medical license
• Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
• NCCPA certification (PA) or ANCC/AANP certification (NP)
• Current BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Comfortable treating all age groups
• Availability for occasional weekends and holidays (varies by site)
• DOT certification may be required (NextCare provides training at no cost if needed)
Qualifications — Preferred:
• Experience in urgent care, ER fast-track, or primary care settings
• Suturing skills and initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiologist over-read
