Duke Pediatric Cardiology and Duke University School of Medicine are seeking pediatric cardiac hospitalist to support our growing in-patient cardiology service.  Candidates should be academically motivated, BE/BC in pediatric cardiology and have interest in in-patient pediatric cardiac care. The ideal candidate would be motivated to work within a high functioning in-patient service seeking to provide innovative care to a rapidly expanding patient population. Quality improvement experience and interest is a bonus. Other areas of cardiac interest and academic growth can also be supported.  Applicants with research interests/funding are also invited to apply.

Duke faculty provide a comprehensive spectrum of clinical services to treat cardiovascular diseases that may affect the fetus, infant, child, adolescent, or young adult. Our surgical volumes and patient survival rates are among the highest in the U.S. Our pediatric cardiac research programs span from basic science to translational and clinical research.  Duke pediatrics ranks first in the nation in NIH research grant funding for pediatrics clinical science departments. Faculty appointments and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s academic record. The Department of Pediatrics offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity.
