Job Summary:
HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is seeking a full-time Chief of Emergency Medicine to lead its Emergency Department in Okeechobee, Florida.QUALIFIED CANDIDATES - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Will consider Board-Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) with at least 24 months of current Emergency Medicine experience
- Minimum of 24 months of current Emergency Medicine experience
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT- 30,000 Emergency Medicine visits per year
- 14-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track including 2 dedicated trauma rooms
- Multi-million-dollar expansion starting in early spring 2026 adding 11 additional bays, 2 behavioral health safe rooms, dedicated physician workspace
- 20% admission rate
- 24 hours of physician coverage
- 24 hours of APP coverage
- Active partnership with sister facility in close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support/transfers
