Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies is the 2nd busiest OB hospital in the country, providing specialized care focused on women's health and newborns. As a Level IV Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Hospital for Florida, we care for the highest acuity maternal and neonatal patients.
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our growing team at Winnie Palmer Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-acuity women's health practice with excellent work-life balance and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a high-acuity, varied case mix in women's health.
- Share in collaborative call rotation with team members.
- Occasional independent case management as needed.
- Supervise CRNAs and CAAs in delivering anesthesia care for obstetric and gynecologic cases.
- Teaching opportunities with CRNA and CAA students.
Required:
- Education: M.D., or D.O.
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited Anesthesiology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
