Our team is seeking a Full Time (0.83 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to meet the urgent care needs of our patients, 365 days a year. 

Schedule

  • 5, 12 hour shifts every two weeks between
  • 7:00am-7:30pm or 9:00 am – 9:30 pm
  • Weekend and holiday rotation is 1:3.

What is the Plaza Urgent Care?

Our Plaza Urgent Care delivers high-quality urgent medical care without the ER wait or cost.  We treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries for which patients might otherwise go to a hospital ER and are equipped with the latest medical technology.  We have access to advanced lab and imaging equipment which allows staff to treat more serious conditions that cannot be treated at an average urgent care clinic.  Our patients benefit from a seamless continuum of care with providers that are invested in their wellbeing.

Common health concerns treated at the Urgency include:

  • abdominal pain
  • acute injury evaluation
  • blood clots or leg pain
  • broken bones
  • cough and cold symptoms
  • cuts requiring stitches
  • dislocations, sprains and strains
  • eye pain and injury
  • fast-onset joint and back pain
  • fever, dehydration, nausea or vomiting
  • headache/migraine
  • mild chest pain with no cardiac history
  • minor head injury
  • minor injuries from motor vehicle collisions
  • nosebleed
  • pediatric illness and injuries
  • respiratory issues including asthma

 

To be considered for our position you would need to: 

  • Have a current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and be eligible for Minnesota licensure

We would prefer that our candidate have experience in one of the following areas as a Provider or RN:

  • Emergency Department
  • Urgent Care
  • Family Medicine/Walk-In Clinic

In addition, all applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.

 

Pay and Benefits

  • Starting pay begins at $118,310.40 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Salary range:? $118,310.40 - $137,696 per year
  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
