Required Skills:

• Valid Medical Doctor (MD) degree with Board Certification in Interventional Radiology
• Active medical license in Michigan or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven experience in performing procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and UFE
• Ability to work effectively within a hospital environment and with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with orthopedic, gynecological, and urological IR procedures
• Previous work in trauma or Level I trauma centers
• Familiarity with various EMR systems
• Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency IR experience in a hospital setting
• Prior locum or agency-based clinical work preferred

Other Requirements:

• Ability to accommodate 3+ weeks of coverage per month, including potential travel
• Willingness to participate in a Q3 call schedule, covering every third weekday and weekend
• Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate; lodging provided on campus if needed
• Credentialing process estimated at 90 days with potential for expedited approval
• Compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws
