Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time, 0.8 FTE
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday day shift; no nights or weekends
  • Location: Grand Rapids, MI
  • Specialty: Surgical Optimization
  • Hospital/Team Info: 
    • Ambulatory team located within Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital, a Level 2 trauma center
    • Provider works in collaboration with the medical care team to coordinate care prior to surgery, educate patients, and complete any necessary testing to ensure safe patient outcomes
  • Call Requirements: No Call or Holiday Coverage

Requirements

  • APP experience required
  • Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
