Opportunity Details
- Position Type: Full-Time, 0.8 FTE
- Schedule: Monday – Friday day shift; no nights or weekends
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Specialty: Surgical Optimization
- Hospital/Team Info:
- Ambulatory team located within Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital, a Level 2 trauma center
- Provider works in collaboration with the medical care team to coordinate care prior to surgery, educate patients, and complete any necessary testing to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Call Requirements: No Call or Holiday Coverage

Requirements
- APP experience required
- Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
