ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Bertie Hospital located in Windsor, NC are seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician or a Family/Internal Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience to join their team.

New graduates and visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Critical Access Hospital inclusive of an 8- bed Emergency Department
• Schedule will include (12) 12-hour shifts per month (8am-8pm and 8pm-8am) - sole physician model
• Emergency Medicine physician also covers the hospital inpatient unit after 5pm during the week and on weekends
• Emergency Medicine Department also has advanced practiced provider support each day from 10a-10pm
• No call
• The ECUC Health Bertie Emergency department averages 40 patients per day and 15,000 per year
• CT Tech in-house 24/7
• Support from nearby hospital, ECU Health Chowan Hospital, in Edenton, NC, a 25-bed critical access hospital with 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
• Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC
• Telestroke support
