Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care

Join our collaborative trauma acute care surgery team at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, where you'll work side-by-side with experienced trauma surgeons and fellow APPs to deliver exceptional trauma care.

Opportunity Highlights:

• A weekend rotation with two days off during that week
• Level II Trauma Center
• Covering trauma, ACS, and clinic via rotation
• Strong and collegial team of Trauma Surgical Critical Care Physicians
• ICU experience is a plus

Training:

• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (CAHEA-accredited), or
• Masters Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing (CCNEA-accredited)

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current Illinois license as PA or APN

• Current NCCPA (PA) or AACC (APN) certification

• Controlled substance licensure for prescribing
