As an emergency medicine (EM) advanced practice clinician (APC), you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Working collaboratively with emergency physicians and interdisciplinary teams, as nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA), you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan presenting with acute illness or injury. This role requires strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and the ability to function effectively in a high-acuity environment.
About the Role
- Perform comprehensive and focused histories and physical examinations
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent medical conditions
- Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, ECGs)
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
In this role, you will perform procedures within scope of practice, which may include:
- Suturing and wound management
- Incision and drainage
- Splinting and fracture management
Expected compensation is estimated base salary range of $70 to $80 hourly. Full-time clinicians are eligible for an excellent benefits package including: 401k plan, health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, long and short term disability, FSA, group life insurance, and EAP.
