We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Non-Surgical Orthopedic or Sports Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate excels at diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, chronic conditions, and sports-related issues without surgical intervention, and thrives in a collaborative orthopedic environment.
This role is heavily clinical, procedure-friendly, and patient-facing ideal for a physician who enjoys diagnostics, rehab planning, injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, and movement-based orthopedic medicine.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative disorders, sprains/strains, tendinopathies, arthritis, and sports-related conditions.
Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) into treatment planning.
Develop conservative care plans including PT protocols, bracing, meds, activity modification, and injury prevention strategies.
Perform in-office procedures such as:
Corticosteroid injections
Hyaluronic acid injections
Ultrasound-guided injections
PRP and biologics (if applicable)
Tendon/soft-tissue procedures
Joint aspirations
Support evaluation and triage for patients who may require surgical referral.
Treat athletes of all ages and activity levels from weekend warriors to competitive athletes.
Provide return-to-play planning and functional recovery guidance.
Collaborate with physical therapy to optimize outcomes.
Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, PAs, PTs, and pain specialists to coordinate comprehensive care.
Provide follow-up management for pre- and post-surgical patients as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Participate in quality improvement, clinical guideline development, and workflow optimization.
Contribute to patient education and practice growth initiatives.
MD or DO degree.
Board Certified/Eligible in PM&R, Family Medicine with Sports Medicine Fellowship, or Non-Surgical Orthopedics.
Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).
Strong diagnostic and procedural skills.
Competency with ultrasound-guided procedures strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills.
Experience in high-volume orthopedic or sports clinics.
Interest in MSK ultrasound, PRP/biologics, and emerging orthopedic technologies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-specialty group.
