Required Skills:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Cardiology
• Valid state medical license and DEA certification
• Proven experience in inpatient cardiology care and management
• Ability to perform comprehensive cardiology evaluations and procedures
• Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying shift schedules

Nice to Have Skills:

• Advanced cardiology certifications (e.g., Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology)
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Prior locum or temporary healthcare staffing experience
• Knowledge of hospital protocols and interdisciplinary collaboration

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in cardiology
• Previous experience in inpatient settings, including trauma or emergency coverage

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work scheduled inpatient shifts and night call hours (7 am-5 pm onsite, with night call from 5 pm-7 am)
• Ability to commit to multiple scheduled weeks for continuity of care (specifically Feb 12-18, Mar 30-Apr 5, May 4-10, May 25-31, Jun 15-21, Jun 29-Jul 5)
• Ot applications apply after 10 hours of work per day, not weekly hours
