Join an established, multi-site pain medicine service line led by Chief, GMG Pain Management, Dr. Maricela C. Schnur, MD, MBA. You’ll assume a mature practice from a physician planning retirement in 2026, ensuring immediate patient demand and continuity of care. 

Highlights of the Position

Lead clinic-based care primarily at the Sayre Interventional Pain Management clinic on the Robert Packer Hospital campus, with a regional footprint supported by Guthrie’s integrated system. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary model that includes interventional procedures alongside complementary services offered across our program. Telemedicine support is available to enhance access and follow-up. 

Provide the full spectrum of interventional pain therapies aligned to your training and interests, including spine injection therapies, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems. You will inherit a busy panel and contribute to continued growth of an already high-demand service. 

Candidate Requirements 

Unwavering commitment to our mission of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion; every patient, every time. MD/DO with ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine and BC/BE in Anesthesiology or PM&R. Eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure (New York eligibility preferred given Guthrie’s regional reach). Competence with fluoroscopy-guided procedures and a team-based, evidence-driven approach to care.
