The Mission of the division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology is to strengthen the health of our rural community by providing accessible, high-quality digestive care, fostering strong partnerships with local providers, and supporting patients through every stage of diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management.
Chief Purpose of Position
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at VCU is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join our team at Community Memorial Hospital, located in the scenic and welcoming community of South Hill, VA.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM schedule
- 10 days call coverage per month (evenings & weekends)
- Additional call pay available beyond 10 days
- 2 days clinic, 3 days procedures weekly
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology from an accredited training program
- Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
- General gastroenterology position
