Job Summary
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join a nationally prominent program. Working in close partnership with General Ob/Gyn colleagues, the Maternal-Fetal Medicine faculty support one of the busiest obstetric services in the country, with approximately 1,000 deliveries each month at Parkland Memorial Hospital alone. This extraordinary clinical volume allows the team to encounter even the rarest complications—those occurring in as little as 1% of cases—every few days, providing unparalleled clinical experience. In addition to their clinical responsibilities, members of the MFM division serve as Maternal Medical Directors at five leading North Texas hospitals: Clements University Hospital, Parkland, Texas Health Resources Plano, Baylor Scott & White–Irving, and Baylor Scott & White–Frisco. This depth and breadth of clinical exposure directly fuel the division’s robust research enterprise, enabling basic, translational, and clinical studies that help define national and international standards of care for high-risk pregnancy.
