Required Skills:

• Board-certified or eligible in Cardiology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty training in Cardiology
• Proven clinical experience in inpatient cardiology care
• Strong knowledge of cardiac diagnostics, treatments, and emergency protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple clinical responsibilities
• Flexibility to work 7a-7p shifts with night call coverage

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with inpatient rounding and acute cardiac care
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or ATLS
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Prior experience in a locum tenens setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license in the practicing state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiology or internal medicine with cardiology focus
• Previous inpatient and rounding experience desirable

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work at least two full weeks per month
• Flexibility for overtime after 12 hours/day shifts
• Ability to adapt to shift schedules, including overnight coverage when needed
