Physician - Emergency Medicine

Position Highlights:

• Flexible supplemental scheduling with various day, evening, and night shifts available.
• Dedicated Hospitalist service for admissions and robust subspecialty support at each location.
• Integrated Epic EMR system across all clinics and hospitals.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Hourly rate of $285 an hour.

Practice Details:

• 7 employed physicians in the Emergency Medicine group.
• Primary location: Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, IL.
• 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on staff.
• Shift Structure:
  • Day Shift (7 AM - 7 PM) staffed with 1 physician & 1 APP.
  • Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM) staffed with 1 nocturnist physician & 1 APP.
• Average daily patient encounters: 55.
• Average daily admissions at Marion campus: 11.
• Referral base: ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers.
• Subspecialty support: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Neurology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Colorectal Surgery, and more.
