Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical care to cardiology patients, with an emphasis on electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, perform diagnostics, and manage patient follow-ups.
- Document patient interactions thoroughly and maintain compliance with all medical and institutional policies.
- Support clinic operations during scheduled hours, including coverage for EP cardiology cases.
Required Skills:
- Valid licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Proven experience in cardiology, specifically in electrophysiology (EP) clinics.
- Strong understanding of cardiac conditions, diagnostic testing, and treatment protocols.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced cardiac devices and electrophysiology procedures.
- Familiarity with EKG interpretation and arrhythmia management.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
- Additional certifications related to cardiology (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology, with a focus on electrophysiology.
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexibility for additional hours or overtime as needed.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Willingness to assist with clinic coverage as required.
