Program Overview

The Banner Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Neurology Fellowship is a 12-month, immersive post-graduate program designed to build advanced clinical expertise with a specialized focus on dementia care. Fellows gain comprehensive training in outpatient neurology while developing critical skills for managing acute neurologic disorders.

What Youll Experience

Outpatient Expertise

• For example, rotations include memory clinics, general neurology, stroke, movement disorders, and neuromuscular specialties.

Inpatient Exposure

• Focused rotations in consult teams and stroke service for a complete understanding of acute care.

Mentorship & Precepting

• Learn from experienced clinicians who guide you toward progressive autonomy and confidence.

Education & Development

• Didactic session can include case conferences, journal clubs, and opportunities for research and quality improvement projects.
