Position: Medical Director - Anesthesiologist
Location: Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital - South Boston, VA
Employment Type: Full-Time (1099)

Compensation & Benefits:
- $620,000 salary for 26 weeks per year
- $60,000 signing bonus
- $40,000 Medical Director stipend
- Malpractice coverage provided
Practice Highlights:
- One week on / one week off schedule
- Includes night call after cases and weekend call during on-week; call backs are light (average <5 hours over 7 days)
- Must reside within a 30-minute call radius
- Case mix: general, endoscopy, orthopedics, vascular, oncology, urology (no OB)
- 2025 case volume: 2,382 cases; over 50% endoscopy
