  • Schedule:  Call 1:3, Cover Clinic, OR and hospital rounding

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Fellowship training in spine surgery preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to manage high surgical volume and complex spine cases
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Eligible to work in the United States

 

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Provide neurosurgical and spine surgery at Trinity Health Oakland (497 bed, Level 2 Trauma) and Trinity Health Livonia (304 bed) and Trinity Health Livonia ASC
  • Provide comprehensive trauma, acute care, and critical care surgical services, including operative and non-operative management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency medicine, anesthesia, and critical care for complex neurosurgical and spine patients
  • Supervise and educate residents, APPs, and medical students as applicable
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, quality initiatives, and clinical documentation standards
  • Utilizing state-of-the-art technology including O-Arm, Leica microscopes, and stealth navigation
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials related to spine devices
