Internal Medicine - Cardiology Physician

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine physicians specializing in Cardiology to join our team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for committed professionals interested in providing high-quality cardiac care in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

• Number of Providers Needed: 2-3 full-time physicians
• Work Schedule: Clinic operating five days a week, with flexibility to transition to four-day clinic weeks during non-call weeks
• Inpatient Responsibilities: Inpatient cardiology call on a rotating schedule
• Clinic Details: Manage and follow a dedicated panel of patients, providing consistent cardiac care
• Call Responsibilities: Non-invasive cardiology call every 2-3 weekends
• Licensing Requirements: Active medical license with supervising authority; candidates must be eligible to be added as a locum tenens supervising physician for Physician Assistants

Qualifications:

• Valid medical license in the state of Louisiana
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with subspecialty training or experience in Cardiology
• Strong clinical skills in outpatient and inpatient cardiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary team
