Join Our Team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

What You Will Do:
- Provide outpatient cardiology services for approximately 13 patients daily in a caring and professional manner
- Work primarily at two convenient locations: Reeds Crossing (Tuesday–Thursday) and Mother Joseph (Monday & Friday)
- Deliver high-quality care through 30-minute appointments, with shifts starting as early as 8:30 AM and concluding by 4 PM, including a scheduled lunch hour
- Participate in a 13-week assignment with potential for extension
- Manage patient inbox time post-clinic hours to ensure comprehensive care coordination
Required Skills:
- Minimum of two years of cardiology experience; five or more years preferred
- Valid active Oregon State License & Oregon DEA registration
- Ability to obtain clinic privileges within approximately 30 days
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of delivering patient-centered care within a collaborative team environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with payor enrollment processes
- Familiarity with clinic-based workflows and EHR systems
- Certification in Advanced Cardiology Protocols or related specializations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution
- Active state license with privileges for outpatient cardiology practice
- Relevant cardiology clinical experience, ideally 5+ years
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week locum assignment with the possibility of extension
- Ability to work scheduled shifts consistently, with no overtime expectations
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient appointments and inbox correspondence
- Valid licensure and certification credentials must be maintained and current
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate of $1.00
