Required Skills:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • State medical licensure in good standing
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Proven experience in hospital medicine or related clinical settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a Level 3 trauma or emergency setting
  • Familiarity with Rapid Response Team procedures
  • Basic procedures competency (though not mandatory)
  • Bilingual capabilities or additional language skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of residency in Internal Medicine
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or nocturnal inpatient care experience
  • Active certifications in ACLS and BLS

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for up to 25 night shifts per month, scheduled between 7 PM and 7 AM
  • Must participate as part of the Rapid Response Team
  • No ICU procedures required; the ICU is closed
  • Ability to manage approximately 8-14 admissions per shift
  • Valid provider enrollment and compliance with all hospital policies
