Position Summary:

The Interventional Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a focus on diagnostic and interventional procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and management of acute coronary syndromes. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, teamwork, and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and catheter-based therapies.
• Diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care, cardiology, and nursing staff.
• Participate in patient education, follow-up care, and preventive cardiology programs.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
• Valid Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong procedural and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
