Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a full time Advance Practice Provider committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our OB/GYN team. This role is essential to supporting the delivery of high-quality care to our patients, with responsibilities spanning outpatient and inpatient care. The APP will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to ensure comprehensive care for women at all stages of life. This position is located at our OBGYN Clinic in Nampa, ID working a M-F schedule, no call required.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests. 
Provide prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care to patients in the clinic setting. 
Manage acute and chronic conditions related to womens health by developing and implementing treatment plans. 
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care. 
Collaborate with the care team to optimize clinic workflows and patient experience. 
Provide support in labor and delivery, including assisting with triage, inpatient care, and managing obstetric emergencies. 
Collaborate with physicians during surgical procedures such as cesarean sections and gynecological surgeries. 
Conduct inpatient rounding for postpartum and gynecological patients. 
 Participate in care coordination to ensure seamless transitions between hospital and outpatient settings.

Requirements:

  • Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) OR Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM): Successful completion of respective Graduate Program and board certification (PA-C, NP-C, CNM)
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
  • A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group
  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 (two) years working as an APP or prior experience in Womens Health
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
