Job Summary:
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Emergency Medicine Team in Fort Pierce, Florida and its Free-Standing Emergency Department in Vero Beach.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES
· Must be board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
· Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PROFILE
· Level II Trauma Center
· 100,000+ annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in pediatric ED
· 42-bed ED including 5 fast-track plus 5 monitored beds
· 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric
· 70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED)
· 60 hours of APP coverage
· 26% admission rate
· Comprehensive Stroke facility with bi-plane
· Interventional cardiac cath facility
· Several dedicated ED glide scopes and ultrasound
· 24-hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists
