Renown Health, in partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med), is seeking a Geriatric Hospitalist Physician to join our expanding inpatient medicine team. This role includes an Affiliate Faculty Appointment with UNR Med, offering opportunities to teach and mentor learners across multiple training programs. This position is ideal for physicians passionate about caring for older adults, advancing age-friendly inpatient care, and contributing to the continued growth of Nevada’s first integrated academic health system.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Dedicated Geriatric Hospitalist role focused on the care of older adult inpatients
Manage admissions, rounding, complex care coordination, and discharge planning with strong specialty support
Collaborative environment with experienced APPs, case management, and multidisciplinary teams
Affiliate Faculty Appointment with UNR Med
Teaching opportunities with medical students, residents, and PA students
Integrated community-based academic training model with ACGME-accredited IM, FM, and Pediatric residencies
