Center for Allergy & Asthma of Georgia (CAAG), a leading Allergy and Asthma practice and an affiliate of SENTA Partners, with nine convenient locations in and around the metro Atlanta area, provides comprehensive treatment for asthma, allergy, and related pulmonary conditions.
Position Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within our ENT and Allergy clinics. This position provides comprehensive support in case management, follow-up care, and patient communication. Working under moderate supervision, the APP evaluates and manages patients with upper respiratory, allergy, asthma, and dermatologic conditions while collaborating closely with clinic physicians in complex cases to ensure optimal outcomes. This position is open to a part-time practitioners (up to 16 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including interval histories and assessments for follow-up visits.
- Perform focused physical examinations of the head, neck, ears, nose, throat, chest, and skin as clinically appropriate.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring all care is documented clearly and communicated effectively with patients.
- Provide clinical assessments and formulate differential diagnoses related to ENT and allergy conditions.
- Prescribe medications within prescriptive authority, including antihistamines, decongestants, mucolytics, bronchodilators, inhaled and oral steroids, and antibiotics.
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests, radiology, CT scans, and audiograms.
- Assist in managing and treating reactions related to immunotherapy, seeking physician consultation for cases of greater severity.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians for consultation in complex or difficult cases, whether in person or by phone.
- Participate in after-hours call coverage from home with physician backup available as needed.

Qualifications
- Current, licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Georgia.
- Certification through an accredited NP, DNP, or PA program.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT or Allergy.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- APP must be able to provide patient care for all age demographics.
- Eligible for hospital privileges.
