Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System (WCHS) is seeking a Behavioral Health Director to join its growing, mission-driven health system in Winnebago, Nebraska. This is a full-time, employed leadership opportunity combining clinical care with administrative oversight in an outpatient setting.

Position Highlights

• Leadership Role: Approximately 30% administrative / 70% clinical, with flexibility for increased administrative time during onboarding

• Outpatient-only practice

• Newly created position

Practice & Facility Details

• Full-service hospital campus with Lab, Radiology, and Pharmacy

• 13-bed hospital with low acuity and complexity

• No pediatric admissions

• Access to multiple specialties, including:

  • Family Practice
  • Dermatology
  • Urology
  • Nephrology
  • Podiatry
    
    

• Clinical team includes 6 APPs

• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Schedule

• Clinic coverage:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• No weekend clinic hours

• After-hours patient calls are routed directly to the Emergency Department

Candidate Requirements

• Specialty: Behavioral Health

• Board Certified/Board Eligible preferred

• Certifications required: BLS and ALS

• Leadership experience or interest strongly preferred

Employment Details
