Physician - Pain Medicine

The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pain Management Physician to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, Veteran-centered care along Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast.

• Outpatient-focused Pain Management practice
• Integrated care model addressing chronic pain and substance use disorders
• Interventional and non-interventional pain management (as credentialed)
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with Primary Care, Mental Health, PM&R, Anesthesiology, and Rehabilitation Services

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
• Provide multimodal, evidence-based pain treatment plans
• Perform interventional pain procedures, as privileged
• Integrate addiction-informed care into pain management strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize Veteran outcomes

Preferred Experience

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Fellowship training in Pain Management and Addiction Medicine
• One year of post-residency training in Pain Management and Addiction
