Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology provider to cover scheduled shifts starting April 10, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for rounding on patients, on-call emergency deliveries, and GYN procedures, supporting high-risk cases and collaborating closely with hospital staff and specialists. This position ensures the delivery of quality maternal and gynecological care in a supportive, hospital-based setting, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Required Skills

  • Active North Carolina Medical License and DEA certification (NC address)
  • NC Medicaid Credential and PECS Enrollment
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Extensive experience in obstetric and gynecological care, including high-risk deliveries
  • Current and valid provider status with no recent or open malpractice cases
  • Ability to handle emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries effectively
  • Proficiency in case log documentation from the past 12 months from a hospital setting
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with hospital-based obstetrics in Level 1 nursery settings
  • Knowledge of high-risk transfer protocols to regional NICU facilities
  • Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems
  • Additional certifications in fetal monitoring or advanced obstetric procedures

Preferred Education and Experience
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 2 years of obstetric and gynecological practice, preferably in hospital settings
  • Recent obstetric hospital-based experience preferred

Other Requirements
  • Willingness to work on-call shifts with a 24/7 hospital support team
  • Capable of working within a 20-minute radius of hospital facilities per bylaws
  • Willing to stay for scheduled shifts from April 10-13 and April 24-27, 2026
  • Must submit detailed case logs, malpractice and disciplinary history, and travel plans if applicable
