Physician - Sleep Medicine

Bon Secours Sleep Disorders Center in historic Portsmouth, VA is on the campus of Maryview Medical Center. 

We're adding a BE/BC Fellowship trained Sleep Medicine MD/DO to our team!  

Experienced physicians and new Fellowship grads welcome!

Eligibility:

Sleep Medicine Fellowship Training * BLS/ACLS * Board Eligible or Board Certified through ABMS 

U.S. based Residency Training * Authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.

Active and unrestricted Virginia Medical License - or ability to obtain

Job Description and Highlights

In this role you'll join 2 other Sleep Medicine Physicians in our busy ambulatory Sleep/Pulmonology practice.  You're supported by 2 CMA/clinical, front desk and leadership in the practice and together will help formulate clinic work flows and utilize best practices for patient care.  You'll also work with our Hospital Sleep Lab to coordinate care for home and inpatient sleep studies.  Bon Secours has a warm, collaborative and collegial practice culture and loyal patient base from existing patient panel and large referral network.

• Tremendous opportunity to help build INSPIRE utilization for eligible patients
• Hours are Mon-Fri 8-4:30 PM - Outpatient only
• Average 16-20 patients per day - mild to comprehensive sleep diagnosis
• EPIC EMR, DAX/CoPilot AI technology, MyChart, Dragon Dictation software
• Work with Multidisciplinary Medical Group team spanning primary care, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Surgery and much more
