Required Skills:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification in relevant state
  • Proven experience in gastroenterology or related field
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of GI procedures, treatments, and protocols

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with endoscopic procedures
  • Bilingual language skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Advanced training in gastrointestinal medicine

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology or related specialization
  • Prior experience working in outpatient or hospital settings

Other Requirements:
  • Must hold proper licensure and certifications applicable to the state of practice
  • Willingness to travel for certain cases or trainings when required
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) desirable
