Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification in relevant state
- Proven experience in gastroenterology or related field
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of GI procedures, treatments, and protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with endoscopic procedures
- Bilingual language skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Advanced training in gastrointestinal medicine
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology or related specialization
- Prior experience working in outpatient or hospital settings
Other Requirements:
- Must hold proper licensure and certifications applicable to the state of practice
- Willingness to travel for certain cases or trainings when required
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) desirable
